My art seems to have grown out of my enjoyment of both woodworking and painting. I started making wooden sliding puzzles several years ago and painting portraits on them. I view it as an interactive art form where you can make your own Picasso style painting from the portraits.

Most of my spare time these days is used for writing, but I still manage to do a couple of commissions a year and contribute two or three pieces for charity auctions. If you are interested in commissioning a work email me at tfritts01@aol.com

All the puzzles are made from hard woods, usually oak and birch, and range in size from 9” by 9” table top games all the way up to 3 ½ ’ by 3 ½’ puzzles that hang on the wall or sit on an easel. The most common size is around 15” by 15”, good for tabletops or the wall.

I include a link to a sample that you can play on line. It is one of my earliest works and not as refined as my newer paintings. It works well in Firefox, but I am having some glitches in internet explorer that we are trying to work out.
